چکیده
Local Container Drayage Problem (LCDP) refers to the optimization of process planning and scheduling container trucks between a terminal customers offer door-to-door service in local area. The time required for (un)packing containers at customers’ sites are often relatively long uncertain due current work level unexpected deviations operational situations, which has significant influence on transportation process. This paper examines LCDP with Separable tractors trailers, additionally consideration Uncertainties (LCDPSU). A proactive strategy is employed tackle uncertainty by proposing “model robust” bi-objective model balance tradeoff cost, includes traveling cost tractor deployment setup robustness, represented as an exponential expression buffer two stages each individual task. deterministic version our problem proved be NP hard, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) scheme therefore proposed search feasible solutions Zoutendijk direction algorithm embedded order nonlinearity brought robustness model. Numerical experiments conducted validate efficiencies effectivenesses models methods, managerial implications drawn from numerical results.

A set-covering formulation for a drayage problem with single and double container loads
This paper addresses a drayage problem, which is motivated by the case study of a real carrier. Its trucks carry one or two containers from a port to importers and from exporters to the port. Since up to four customers can be served in each route, we propose a set-covering formulation for this problem where all possible routes are enumerated. This model can be efficiently solved to optimality b...
متن کاملA genetic algorithm for a bi-objective mathematical model for dynamic virtual cell formation problem
Nowadays, with the increasing pressure of the competitive business environment and demand for diverse products, manufacturers are force to seek for solutions that reduce production costs and rise product quality. Cellular manufacturing system (CMS), as a means to this end, has been a point of attraction to both researchers and practitioners. Limitations of cell formation problem (CFP), as one o...
متن کاملSolving a new bi-objective model for a cell formation problem considering labor allocation by multi-objective particle swarm optimization
Mathematical programming and artificial intelligence (AI) methods are known as the most effective and applicable procedures to form manufacturing cells in designing a cellular manufacturing system (CMS). In this paper, a bi-objective programming model is presented to consider the cell formation problem that is solved by a proposed multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO). The model c...
متن کاملA Bi-objective Mathematical Model for Closed-loop Supply Chain Network Design Problem
In this paper, a bi-objective mixed-integer linear optimization model for Closed-loop Supply Chain Network Design Problem (CLSCND) is developed. The proposed model includes both the forward and reverse directions and includes different types of facilities, namely, manufacturing/remanufacturing centers, warehouses, and disassembly centers. The first objective function tried to minimize the total...
متن کاملA dynamic bi-objective model for after disaster blood supply chain network design; a robust possibilistic programming approach
Health service management plays a crucial role in human life. Blood related operations are considered as one of the important components of the health services. This paper presents a bi-objective mixed integer linear programming model for dynamic location-allocation of blood facilities that integrates strategic and tactical decisions. Due to the epistemic uncertain nature of ...
